2021 Jeep Gladiator vs Ford Ranger

Jeep Gladiator MPG

When you’re out taking on the world from behind the wheel of the Jeep Gladiator, the last thing you want to do is stop to fill up your tank. That’s why we love that this pickup offers an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 17 city/22 highway MPG.

It achieves this level of efficiency with its standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that produces a thrilling 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It’s prepared for off-roading, too, especially when equipped with the available Rock-Trac® transfer case with a 4-to-1 low range that delivers up to an 84-to-1 crawl ratio on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon trim (more on that next!).

Plus, the Gladiator has the ability to tow up to 7,650 pounds when properly equipped, so go ahead and get that trailer loaded up with ATVs, dirt bikes, and more!

Jeep Gladiator Trim Levels

Firecracker Red Jeep GladiatorDriving the Jeep Gladiator is all about choosing your own adventure, and that starts with picking out your trim level. This Jeep truck offers several different trims for you to pick from, including:

  • Sport
  • Overland
  • Rubicon
  • High Altitude
  • Mojave

There are also special editions like the Jeep Gladiator 80th Anniversary Edition and the Willys, both of which are available as an upgrade to the Sport trim.

If you really have a need for adventure, then the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon trim may be just the truck to get you where you want to go. This trim level comes with 33-inch Falken® off-road tires and rock rails for the cab and bed. It also has high-clearance fender flares and a performance suspension with FOX® 2.0 monotube shocks.

If you plan to use your Gladiator for mostly everyday driving, then you should be satisfied with all the great standard features that come with the Sport trim. Ask our team when you visit our dealership which trims will be right for you.

Jeep Gladiator Interior

Billet Silver Jeep Gladiator driving down a dirt roadNow it’s time to get behind the wheel. Slide into the cockpit and plug your phone into the USB port to activate Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. These features essentially integrate your smartphone with your truck, so you can use apps like navigation, audio streaming, and phone calls on the go. You’ll be able to access these apps through the available 8.4-inch display in the center stack.

If it’s a bit chilly outside, activate the available heated front seats and steering wheel or set your preferred temperature on the available Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control. Your seats will be appointed in high-quality materials, whether you’ve chosen the Soulmate Cloth in Heritage Tan or the McKinley Leather trim in Black and Dark Saddle—or any of the other available interior options.

In all, there’s room for five passengers inside the cabin with 41.2 inches of driver legroom, so stretch out and get comfortable!
